I provide friendly, straightforward accountancy and tax support to sole traders, landlords, limited companies and small businesses across Ammanford, Carmarthenshire and the wider UK.

Real business experience

Before and alongside working in accountancy, I have experienced business from several different angles — as a sole trader, business partner and company director.

That means I understand many of the practical issues my clients face, from managing cash flow and keeping records up to date, to balancing business decisions with everyday life.

I particularly enjoy working with sole traders, owner-managed businesses, landlords and small limited companies, where a personal relationship and practical advice can make a real difference.

I believe good accountancy support should go beyond simply meeting deadlines. It should help you understand your numbers, make informed decisions and feel that you have someone reliable to turn to when questions arise.

Professional qualifications

I am a qualified member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and operate as an AAT Licensed Accountant.

I am also a student member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) and continue to develop my tax knowledge as part of my longer-term professional development.

I am an HMRC Agent and Companies House Authorised Agent, and I work with a range of accounting software including Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.

My professional development is ongoing and I believe it is important to keep my knowledge current as tax, reporting requirements and accounting technology continue to change.

Why I started Draig Accountancy

I wanted to build the kind of accountancy practice I would want to use myself — professional and reliable but also approachable, responsive and easy to deal with.

Small business owners should be able to understand their accounts, ask questions without hesitation and know exactly who is looking after them.

That is why Draig Accountancy is intentionally personal.

When you work with me, you work directly with me.

I aim to be approachable and responsive, so clients feel comfortable getting in touch when questions arise rather than feeling they have to wait until year end.

Local roots, UK-wide support

Draig Accountancy is based in Penygroes, near Ammanford and Cross Hands, and I work with clients throughout Carmarthenshire, including Ammanford, Llanelli, Carmarthen, Llandeilo and surrounding areas.

I also work remotely with clients throughout Wales and across the UK, using cloud accounting software, secure document sharing, telephone and online meetings.
